Unisa Radio Day Celebration

Formerly known as Unisa Fm until last year when it was retitled +unisa radiostation,The station turned 5 and celebrated in style.

Presenters, Producers, DJ`s and Journalists for the station came to the event dressed to impress and looking gorgeous together with the management which includes the Head of Communications Department at Unisa Professor +Danie du Plessis, Unisa Radio Manager +Francois van Heerden his assistance +Talifhani Munzhedzi and Head of news +Kgaugelo Pule .

Coachella Music and Art Festival

The +Coachella Valley Music and Art Festival is an annual three day festival founded by Paul Tollett organised by +Goldenvoice and held at the +Empire Polo Club in +Indio, California.

The festival compared to the ones we have here in +South Africa is more like +Oppikoppi but the latter has less art and celebrities. +Coachella in the other hand is a massive festival that happens in two weekends with over 100 000 attendees, boasts 5 major stages and many complicated Art installations.

With +Coachella celebs come in numbers and go full on Hippie style, very short shorts, cool mini dresses, crop tops, heart shaped sunglasses and +Hunter Boots rule. One thing I like about it is that there are also nannies at the festival.

Glamour Stiletto Run 2013

+Glamour South Africa in association with +Mainstay hosted the 2013 Glamour Stiletto Run which began at Cape Town`s +Sun International Table Bay Hotel and ended the past weekend at Pretoria`s +Brooklyn Mall.

 

 

 

Since im from Pretoria, I was so excited to hear that it will be held here and not in Johannesburg like the previous year.

 

 

Fashionistas, +Glamour South Africa readers and celebrities came in numbers, dressed in their stilettos ready to sprint a 100m in heels, all in the name of charity.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The event was amazing and the weather behaved too, I also spotted some eerrh "Men" darling..LOL

+Revlon makeup artists made sure that the ladies looked beautiful, Mainstay cocktails were flowing, maybe thats the reason why I fell.....yes i did and torn my stylish beige leather pants, I have a bruised knee to prove it..

 

 

 

 

Other than that, I had soo much fun and got the opportunity to mingle with the likes of +Pearl Thusi, +Bonie Hena and Lerato Kganyago from +SABC 1`s +THE LINK who was on her towering heels.

 Ooh and lastly, after the run we received Goodie Bags which included some nice stuff from Revlon, Accessorize, Dairly Milk and more.
