Now in its 12th year, Smoking Dragon is an annual music festival that takes place on the 31st of December to the 2nd of January which according to their website, aims to promote and support artists, athletes and communities by creating exciting and novel festivals that all South Africans enjoy.
Festival goers from around the country and mostly from Johannesburg and Pretoria flocked Bergville to usher in the New Year whilst listen to some of the best artist in South Africa such as Jack Parrow, Simphiwe Dana, Slick Angel, Tidal Waves and Naftali of The Royal Family to name a few.
The sun came out and gave a perfect opportunity to view the scenic and beautiful Northern Drakensberg Mountains and also for festival goers to dress up.
