Its always exciting to see iconic clothing brands team up because they always come up with something fresh. Michael Kors collaborated with Ellesse for an athleisure collection which comes with its own logo that includes the signature MK combined with Ellesse's Tennis and Ski logos.
"We teamed up with the longtime tennis tastemaker to put a retro spin on activewear and accessories with off-court appeal" stated Michael Kors website. according to its website, the collaboration aces seventies-inspired cool with sport-luxe essentials for him and for her.
Speaking to WWD, Kors said he wanted to work with Ellesse because the brand was selling well at a tennis club on Long Island New York. Kors said that this capsule was something that he always intrigued to do and loves things that are graphic and bold. He also added that he felt it made sense when people today are wearing athletic clothes not only to the gym.
