Coachella Weekend!!

The past weekend saw music lovers and celebrities in America flock to the Carlifonia dessert of Indio to witness their favorite Artists perform in the weekend long Music Festival.

The +Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual two-weekend, three-day and arts festival at the +Empire Polo Club in Indio, Carlifonia, located in the inland Empire`s Coachella Valley in the Colorado dessert.

The line up included....well lets forget about the line up for now, but the 10 best and stellar performances and non-stop surprises included the 17 year old New Zealander +Lorde who sang her hit songs Team and Royals, Motorhead, +Arcade Fire, +Banks, Chromeo, +Pharrell Williams who had guest stars like Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dog (Lion) and Busta Rhymes and many more, Lana Del Rey, +Calvin Harris , Future Islands, Outcast, +Nas who was joined by +Jay Z as his surprise guest and finally +Solange Knowles perfomed her song Losing You, her sister +Beyonce joined her on stage.

As for the fashionista shoooo, they rocked the skimpiest outfit ever from daisy dukes to bikinis. +Coachella to me as a South African has a +Rocking the Daisies vibe even the clothes people wear, its that Hippie style if you know what I mean.

+Coachella will end next sunday.

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2014

South Africa`s trendy set descended on Thursday for the first day of +Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on the Sandton Convention Centre.

Big names such as David Tlale, +Marianne Fassler , Stefania Morland and Leigh Schubert, as well as many newcomers were included in the 2014 lineup.

I got the opportunity to attend the first day of the fashion show where +Marianne Fassler  was showing

Night Out In Braam!!

Last Friday I went to an exhibition of photographic works by Mpho Mokgadi , Mack Magagane and other photographers at +70 Juta in Braamfontein.

I liked the works of these photographers especially that of Mack Magagane which presents a photographic journey that captures temporal relationships, spaces and moments found when experiencing a city as somewhat foreign.

The place, which is next to Kitchener`s Carvery Bar was abuzz with young and old stylish people who came to the exhibition..

Moonchild was also there to show her latest collection from her daring to be different clothing brand Moonchild Cultwear.
