LUNAR UTOPIA

The past weekend was the family friendly Lunar Utopia Festival held at scenic Kaya Elangeni Farm in Magalieberg, the drive from home was worth it.

"Lunar Utopia-HONEY FOR LIFE"  is a regenerative and collaborative festival which aims to bring the moon tribe an experience of heart-opening, mind expanding and wonder filled celebrations.

Festival goers were treated to beautiful music while surrounded by lush green pastures, feeling the fresh air under the shade of indigenous trees.

Maturing Rihanna: Crop Over 2019

I cannot help but notice how Rihanna has grown to be this matured woman, I say matured because I have been her follower since she made her debut with her first hit single Pon de Replay.


Back then, Rihanna would be photographed leaving clubs drunk, along with her entourage which includes her best friend Melisa, personal assistance, cousins and hair stylist. She never had a stable boyfriend till now,  so she lived this wild life, travelled the world with her entourage and has about twenty tattoos.

Then there is the annual parade called Crop Over (Festival to celebrate the end of the sugar cane harvest season) which happens in her hometown Barbados, Crop Over is the highlight of Barbados` summer, with three months long spectacular activities starting in May and ends on Kadooment day August 5th.

The Island girl has slayed that event the past years, with her sexy and exotic attires, drinking and smoking weed till the morning.

But, this year, Rihanna showed that maturity by choosing a feathery pink mini dress which covers most of her upper body. if that is not a sign of growth and maturity then I do not know what is it.

She Did It Again!

South African Media Personality, Business woman and Producer +Bonang Matheba has succeeded again in achieving one of her goals. Bonang launched her very own Champagne called House Of BNG, which was unveiled yesterday at an event in Johannesburg.

The 31 year old`s champagne launch is not the only successful business that she has, just two years ago, she was one of the four woman who covered Forbes Woman Africa and these woman were all given a headline for being the faces of Entrepreneurship. she released her own book "from A to B", premiered her Reality Show " Being Bonang" which is in its second season, she was also featured on GQ`s Power Issue for September 2018, I mean the list just goes on and on.

The champagne which comes in Brut and Brut Rose is only available at selected Woolworths stores nationwide and online. With 2.5m followers on twitter, Bonang is just winning.

Dior`s Circus-Themed Spring/Summer 2019 Show

The iconic fashion house Dior unveiled its Circus-Themes Spring/Summer 2019 collection during the Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week held at the gardens of Musee Rodin.

The star studded show was spectacular, with a complete circus tent and an all-female live acrobats performing whilst the models walk the runway.

The designer, Maria Grazia Chiuri, who is Dior's first female artistic director, has said her mission is to 'support' women and encourage them to feel confident. The show was inspired by "Fantastical creative chaos" of the age-old form of entertainment.
