Elle Rising Star Design Awards

Elle Magazine in partnership with Mr Price held the Elle Rising Star Design Awards ceremony on Thursday at Shine studios in Braamfontein, Jozi.

Elle Editor Jacky Burger who looked stunning in Print pants, black coat and nude shoes welcomed the guests, There were eight very talented designers who showcased their designs and Designer Jane Elizabeth Kozte who says is inspired by Alexander McQueen, Nature, History ,Construction and Tailoring took home the award.

Tribute to Music Heroes Concert at Moreteke Park

On Saturday South Africans welcomed Spring with style as umpteen of events were held around the country.

I for one was in Mamelodi`s Moretela Park attending the Tribute to South African Music Heroes Concert which is in its 15th year this year. the line up included  Jonathan Butler, Letta Mbulu, Zahara, Zonke , Ringo, Mafikizolo and Mi Casa to name a few.

must say I really enjoyed my self!

Topshop Coming To Gauteng

Remember when  announced that topshop opened its stores in Cape Town a few months ago, well the good news is the number one stop shop for London style TOPSHOP and TOPMAN is opening in Jozi’s Sandton City in November.
According to Elle online Mag, a second store is set to open in Gateway, Durban in December.
The one-stop source for cool London style is loved by everyone from Olivia Palermo and Solange Knowles to Paris Vogue editor Emmanuelle Alt, and ours will be directly aligned with their UK counterpart. So SA customers will have access to the same collection that are filling the rails in the brand's famous London stores.
